Experience

Jaimie has more than 30 years experience in the profession and has been a partner of V J Ryan & Co since 1987.  He delivers a high quality integrated service to family controlled businesses in a commercial, responsive and client focused manner.  He is involved in all aspects of a client’s business including due diligence, pre IPO planning, ASX listing requirements, succession & estate planning and general business advice.

Jaimie commenced his professional career at KPMG (then Peat Marwick Mitchell) and completed his PY whilst working exclusively in Audit and Assurance services for KPMG.  He has extensive experience in the performance of statutory audits for publicly listed companies, medium to large private businesses, schools, colleges, religious institutions and Australian Financial Services Licensees.

Other

In addition to his client commitments Jaimie has served on a number of charitable organisations and has provided significant pro-bono services to not-for-profits. In particular he personally initiated and hosted the inaugural Cystic Fibrosis Ball in 1999 and was the past chair of the organising committee for what has become known as the “Sixty Five Roses Ball”. This is one of Sydney’s largest black tie fund raising events which has raised well over $1,000,000 and has had a significant positive impact on the lives of children with Cystic Fibrosis in Australia and overseas.

He is a member of the finance committee of St Ignatius College Riverview.

Jaimie and his wife Liz have three children.
